What YUTHI keeps an eye on for you

Your values, clearly explained.

Three things the app does for you. The sources are listed at the bottom of the page.

59 values in 11 groups

From blood count to hormones. Each value has a reference bar and an in-depth explanation.

  • Blood count
  • Lipids & heart
  • Sugar & metabolism
  • Inflammation
  • Liver
  • Kidneys
  • Iron
  • Minerals
  • Vitamins
  • Thyroid
  • Hormones

Reference ranges are spans in which most healthy people fall — not a sharp line between healthy and ill.4

Three levels instead of red and green

Every value lands in one of three levels: in range, worth watching, or to discuss with your doctor. Some limits depend on sex.

Examples: “in range” means

  • LDL cholesterolbelow 3.0 mmol/l
  • HbA1c · long-term sugarbelow 5.7 %
  • Vitamin D75–125 nmol/l
  • Omega-3 indexfrom 8 %

If a value is just outside, it's “worth watching”. Only clearly outside does it say: discuss with your doctor.

Unit conversion

Labs don't all write the same way. If you enter a value in a different unit, the app converts it.

  • LDL cholesterol130 mg/dl ÷ 38.673.4 mmol/l
  • Fasting glucose90 mg/dl ÷ 185.0 mmol/l
  • Vitamin D30 ng/ml × 2.575 nmol/l

An LDL of 3.4 mmol/l would then be “worth watching” — between 3.0 and 4.1.

What else you can do with it

From lab report to next step.

Photograph your lab report

Instead of typing every value: photograph the lab report. The coach reads the values and the sampling date and logs them for you.

  1. photograph the report
  2. coach reads values and date
  3. logged

Every value can be edited or deleted afterwards.

Recommendations in a set order

From notable values, the app makes concrete steps — always first what you can change yourself, supplements last.

  • 1 · Hydration
  • 2 · Nutrition
  • 3 · Movement
  • 4 · Recovery
  • 5 · Applications
  • 6 · Supplements

The app never names a dose. Whether a value needs treatment is up to your doctor.

A form for your doctor

For your next blood test, the app creates a sheet to take along: which values matter, with target range, your latest values and the date.

  1. core
  2. useful additions
  3. if indicated

The form is created as a PDF on your device. What makes sense is up to your doctor.

Every value explained

Tap a value and the app explains it in plain words:

  • what the value stands for
  • what too high and too low can mean
  • which values to look at together
  • what you can do yourself
  • the source
What it looks like in the app

Every value on its scale.

Instead of just a number, you see where your value sits — and what that means.

  • in range · below 3.0 mmol/l
  • keep an eye on · 3.0 to below 4.1 mmol/l
  • discuss · from 4.1 mmol/l

Example: LDL cholesterol of 130 mg/dl, converted to 3.4 mmol/l. The limits are the same as in the app.

From the lab into the app

Take a photo of your lab report or type in the values. The app converts units, for example mg/dl to mmol/l.

An explanation for every value

What does the value measure, which range counts as good, and what does it mean for a long, healthy life? As guidance, not a diagnosis.

Your areas talk to each other

Your blood values are connected to more than you think.

The app already calculates these connections today. A connection is not a cause — but it shows you where to look.

What does your body good

Putting iron in context

The DGE recommends 16 mg of iron a day for women before menopause and 11 mg for men. Menstruating women, vegetarians and vegans should pay particular attention to their intake. A blood value such as ferritin shows whether your body has enough.1

See blood sugar in context

In one study, lack of sleep worsened glucose tolerance, and light walking after meals kept blood sugar lower afterwards. Sugar values read better when you also look at sleep and movement.23

What you should rather skip

Iron with coffee or tea

If your iron value is low: coffee and especially black tea reduce iron absorption. Vitamin C improves it.1
